15th Night Community Celebration

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring together 15th Night’s supporters, community partners, and our Youth Action Council (YAC) members earlier this month at our 2024 Community Celebration. It was such a treat to get to see everyone’s faces, and to hear from our YAC to about all the hard work they put in in 2023. Thank you so much to everyone who came and made the evening so special!

We had a lot to cover at the 2024 Community Celebration! First, we gave an overview of what we were able to accomplish together in 2023. This included the number of alerts sent in the Rapid Access Network and what the biggest needs were, the growth of our partner network, and exciting new updates to our School Mobilization Model.

Next up, folks had the opportunity to hear from the 15th Night Youth Action Council. 2023 was a busy year for them and we had a lot to cover! From serving a total of more than 1500+ meals at Burrito Friday and Our Neighborhood weekly outreach events, to consulting with 7 new community partners, and helping more than 100 local youth prepare for school at our Back to School BBQ, we certainly had a lot to celebrate. Anyone who was there would likely tell you that the highlight of the night was hearing an update from YAC member, Allistair, who shared their story and brought tears to a lot of eyes!

Finally, we were so grateful for the opportunity to thank our MANY supporters and donors. 15th Night has been a community movement from the beginning, and none of the amazing work we’ve done would be possible without the support of this incredible community. From Community Responder Volunteers, to Burrito Friday donors, Rotary Clubs, and individual donors, we are continuously blown away by how this community steps up to support our youth.
